In May, Vietnam Exported 158300 Tons of Yarn

In May 2024, Vietnam’s exports of textiles and clothing reached 2.762 billion US dollars, an increase of 6.38% month on month and a decrease of 5.3% year-on-year; Exported 158300 tons of yarn, an increase of 4.52% month on month and a decrease of 1.25% year-on-year; Imported yarn of 111200 tons, an increase of 6.16% month on month and a decrease of 12.62% year-on-year; Imported fabrics amounted to 1.427 billion US dollars, an increase of 6.34% month on month and 19.26% year-on-year.

From January to May 2024, Vietnam’s exports of textiles and clothing reached 13.177 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 4.35%; Exported 754300 tons of yarn, a year-on-year increase of 11.21%; 489100 tons of imported yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 10.01%; Imported fabrics amounted to 5.926 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 11.13%.
