In September 2023, Vietnam’s exports of textiles and clothing reached 2.568 billion US dollars, a decrease of 25.55% compared to the previous month. This was the fourth consecutive month of continuous growth and then turned negative compared to the previous month, with a year-on-year decrease of 5.77%; Export of 153800 tons of yarn, an increase of 11.73% month on month and 32.64% year-on-year; Imported yarn reached 89200 tons, a month on month increase of 5.46% and a year-on-year increase of 19.29%; Imported fabrics reached 1.1 billion US dollars, a month on month increase of 1.47% and a year-on-year decrease of 2.62%.
From January to September 2023, Vietnam’s exports of textiles and clothing reached 25.095 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 13.6%; Exporting 1.3165 million tons of yarn, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%; 761800 tons of imported yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%; Imported fabrics amounted to 9.579 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 16.3%.
